Planning A Cheap Trip To Disneyworld

A trip to Disneyworld is a trip of a lifetime, especially when you are with your family. Kids would just do about anything - from eating their vegetables, having regular showers, and being prompt with their homework, to clipping your toe nails - for a promise of a vacation to Disney World.

A trip to Disney World can be a fun and wonderful adventure, but at the same time, it can cause much headache and frustration for parents. This is because a trip to Disney World costs a lot of money. I’m not talking about a gazillion dollars here but at $500.00-$750.00 a person, it can get quite expensive. Well, don’t fret. A little bit of planning can get you and the family on your dream trip while saving you substantial amounts of money to take another trip next year. In this article, we’ll teach you how to plan an inexpensive trip to Disney World. In no time at all, you’ll be able to pack up the little ones and head for your dream destination.

Planning Your Trip

First of all, if you want to save money you must plan your trip to Disney world well in advance. That’s right. You can’t just up and decide, “Hey, today would be a great day to go to Disney World” and then pack up the troops. Instead, you have to plan your trip. You have to consider import details that can help you save tremendous amounts of moola. Here are some considerations.

- The Disneyworld value season is normally between January to May (excluding spring break), August, and mid-December. To be sure, check the exact dates of the value season and then target the off-season packages. Yes, by traveling off season, you can save tremendous money. Aim for cheaper (not necessarily 5 star but certainly not roach quality either). Look for packages that offer you free breakfast or lunch and hotels without lots of amenities. For instance, if no one swims, why pay for a pool?

- Visit the Disneyworld official website (www.disneyworld.com) and look for information on lodging and entrance ticket prices. Research diligently and look for coupons and other great discounts.

- Try and get your hands on Disneyworld passports or lodging bonuses, which will let you in the park early before the public. Not only is this very economical but it will also allow you the opportunity to avoid all those long lines and crowds.

- If you are planning to stick around for a few days, consider multiple-day passports which give you discounts. For instance, one-day Disneyworld passports are more expensive than three-day.

- Remember that all Disneyland passports are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Make firm plans to attend before you buy those Disneyworld passports. After all, we want you to save money not waste it!

Some More Tips for Saving Money and Enjoying Your Trip

In addition to the above, there are other things that you can do to save valuable money on transportation and food. Just remember the golden rule, every cent saved counts and the more you stretch your money, the more you can enjoy your trip to Disneyworld.

- Stay at a hotel that provides shuttle service and then you can avoid parking fees.

- Pack a suitcase-full of bottled water and snacks. Water and food at the park can be quite costly and you’ll save yourself a pretty penny by bring your own.

- Character breakfasts at the park are very expensive. Eat outside or at your hotel. Kids love cereal, milk and juice and you can purchase these at a convenience store.

- Buy your films (assuming you aren’t carrying a digital camera), batteries, and battery charger before leaving home. Purchasing these at the park can be very expensive indeed.

- Valuable coupons can be found in brochures located in hotels and restaurants and may also be found online.

In conclusion, you can have a remarkable and wonderful trip. All you need is a little bit of planning and to follow the above mentioned tips. Not only will you have a remarkable and fun-filled trip, but you won’t have to break your kids’ college fund to cover it.

The Magical Express store stop

The only reason the Disney Express operates is so that they can rush the customers past the store stop which so many small independent companies offer. The store stop takes away hundreds of thousands of dollars each month from Disney restaurants and food concessions. Disney was losing so much money on concessions they had no choice but to fool the customers into thinking the shuttle is free and by passing the store. I would be at Publix shopping center watching as between 10-15 towncars and vans per hour would pull up unloading families each spending between $99.00-$500.00 on groceries. This is the true hidden meaning for the Magical express.
